It is infrequent that Adrianna’s works remain untitled, and so we are left to interpret this on our own cognition. Multiple figures reveal themselves in states of activity and rest. It feels as though we are viewing both the conscious and subconscious in this work. A wide-awake figure at work, whilst underneath simmers perhaps the recollection of the dreams of yesterday. Painted with oil paint on a deep 3.5cm stretched canvas - the painting wraps around the sides of the canvas allowing the painting to be hung directly without framing.
